PHYLOXERA is a nuclear-powered one-man band, a mox-fuelled rhythm section projecting videos on stage.
This is the exiled champenois Dr Gui Ohm (bass/beats/noise/visuals), now based
in north of France, and that's it.
No vocals, no shredders, no overdubs,
no pro tools, no bullshit...
Just an instrumental blend of some
extreme, weird and dissonant things in "French Touch" music industry (Electroacoustic, Musique Mixte and Stochastic processes ; Zeuhl/Rock In Opposition conceptual bombast ; Electropunk terroir ; Coldwave & Les Légions Noires lo-fi ethos ; Post-Hardcore/Skramz/Blackgaze skronk) and in "Japanoise" as well (Harsh Noise minimalism/maximalism, japanese HxC's Burning Spirits, Crasher Crust rawness, Shibuya-Kei crossover)...
